Booking your stay
Deposit and payment: we need a deposit of 30% at the time of booking and the balance must be paid at least six weeks before you arrive. You can of course pay the entire rental at the time of booking. If the booking is within six weeks of your arrival date, we will need the full payment at the time of booking.
Housekeeping: a £200 good housekeeping and damages deposit is needed along with the final payment. This will only be taken/not returned if the house is not left in the condition it was found in when arriving at the house.
Who is coming? At the time of booking we need your contact details and also to how many people will be staying at Aodann.
Confirmation: we will confirm your booking by email once we have received the deposit.
Arrival and departure
Aodann will be ready for you to arrive from 4pm. When you have paid the final balance of the rental we will send you all the information you need to find the property, key collection etc.
Please make sure you have left Aodann by 10am on the departure of day.
Use of property
The guest agrees to use this property solely for the purpose of a private holiday residence for the maximum of people shown on the booking correspondence and agrees not to:
We will make sure that Aodann is clean and tidy for you and ask that you leave it in the same way when you leave. In particular, please:
Aodann is strictly a no smoking property. Please do not smoke anywhere in the house or grounds.
We know that sometimes things get broken, so things like the odd plate or glass will not be charged for but all other losses will be charged for in full.
The occupancy of the property should never exceed six people.
Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at their owners’ risk. The owners will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any injury to persons not caused through the fault of the owners. We advise that you consider holiday insurance for your stay and belongings.
Restriction on rental
We reserve the right to remove person or persons from the property due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy. In this case refund will be at the discretion of the owner.
If you need to cancel your stay at Aodann you must let us know by email straight away. We will do our best to relate the house and if we do, we will reimburse you, less a cancellation fee of £50. If we are unable to re-let the house cancellation costs will be incurred as follows:
Things to note
One of the appeals of the area is its remoteness, but it does mean that if something breaks or goes wrong, it can take longer than usual to get it fixed. We will of course do our best to resolve things as quickly as we can.
Please let us know if you spot anything that needs replacing, mending etc.
Unavailability of property
If for unforeseen circumstances a property becomes unavailable for a confirmed booking, then you will be informed as soon as possible. We will do our best to find you similar standard accommodation, but if this is not possible or acceptable, a full refund will be given. Our liability is limited to monies paid to date.
